Roadmaster believes that any vehicle being towed with a supplemental braking system needs to be monitored. If the braking system was incorrectly installed or failed, you would want to know your brakes were dragging as it could cause severe brake damage or even a brake fire. This kit installs under the dash behind the brake pedal and can be installed with common tools. When the pedal moves it activates the switch thereby providing a 12-volt signal that can be routed to a light or monitoring system providing real-time knowledge of the towed vehicle's braking activities.
